I was just watching a special on the upcoming Olympics next year and it had me thinking about everything everyone is talking about. It'd be awesome if an athlete took a stand. Said something, did something to show the world. I mean I think China is really progressing and looks like a beautiful country, but some of it's humane issues still bother me. Not to mention Tibet and their increasingly crazy ideas about Taiwan.
As an athlete I understand why you wouldn't, you've worked that hard and then what possibly get kicked out before you next event.
Now that I think about it, guys I know who've gotten to that level aren't really thinking about global issues.

A pen pal of mine from back in high school sent me an email the other day, other than a bunch of crazy emotion faces, like this (ヾ(´・ω・`), rambling about someone named Ayu, which I'm sure she'd told me of before I just can't place it at the moment, and going on and on about big purchases, she keeps mentioning crab cakes. Not only that but how I must get one. I always figured that was Baltimore, and since this is near Boston...I don't know what to tell her because other wise she'll be ridiculously disappointed.

So I've never been to Boston. Really I've barely been to America. Alaska once and Seattle, but I don't want to go into that. I've read some travel books, and other than giving me a history of the city, which I don't feel I need, it says clam chowders is their specialty or something. Anyone who's been there long enough, do you have any idea where to get some good..or any good eats? Or anything interesting to do on days out?
